Cinematic LUTs
Cinematic LUT's created by Drec Studios
We have worked on these for the past few years developing our style but also finding what we like. We use these presets on a daily for our work with clients or social media.
Tested on most cameras
We use them as a starting point when editing so we can get a similar look throughout the different cameras we use. Mostly developed from Sony, Canon and Blackmagic files.
What's inside the pack?
- In the pack you will find 5 unique Cinematic LUTs
- They are compatible with any program that uses .cube files like Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut X and many more.
Disclaimer
Remember LUTs are just a starting point. We never just apply them and export the video. Sometimes we just tweak a bit and sometimes we tweak a lot.
How to get the most out of the LUTs:
Make sure you are shooting LOG format. All the latest cameras are capable to shoot in in some sort of LOG format.
They work on all the cameras. But a disclaimer they are developed from Sony, Canon, Blackmagic and RED cameras in DaVinci Resolve.
Remember to expose for the highlights and not blow them out. We always use an external monitor with false color.
